        Some great ideas here! It was also great meeting up w/ you last Thursday (7/10) at the PHP Meetup.

        I think mobile web technology is the next frontier, and there a number of areas for new market growth, to name just a few in addition to the SMS market you are alluding to here:

        1. collaborative games
        2. social apps like ride sharing
        3. cell phone payment processing

        Games are already a huge business
        on the web:
